Hubbards needs no introduction – every Kiwi since way back has enjoyed their products for breakfast or snacks, Despite their enviable market position, they came to us needing to refresh their online presence and adapt to the sales challenges presented almost overnight by COVID-19.
We were already working towards creating a vibrant new site for Hubbards that would provide a launchpad for product innovation and creativity, be an informational resource for customers and showcase their extensive range of products. Then COVID-19 came along and brought the timeline for the revamp forward dramatically! So, we pivoted slightly to not only creative an innovative new site, but also a highly functional e-commerce platform (using WooCommerce) to allow Hubbards to immediately sell direct to customers online. We also created an automated integration between the e-commerce platform and their Facebook and Instagram Business Manager accounts. WooCommerce now automatically populates the social media shopping functions often used by their millennial market with their product data, thus providing extra sales avenues online. With a refreshed brand identity, the new Hubbards website is appealing, easy to navigate and fleshed out with educational resources that inform discerning customers of all the benefits of the Hubbards range. The website functions as a powerful sales platform whilst elevating the fresh look of the Hubbards brand.
